I had a random stranger take this of my hubby & I this weekend- so excuse the blur! But I’m still posting it because we are celebrating 22 years together, 17 years married this month! And I want to be real for everyone out there thinking that marriage is easy because that’s what it looks like in movies/ magazines/ pictures etc. Guys-we’ve totally had our ups & downs throughout the years! We’ve also had so many awesome adventures together, and we’ve also made time to look at the parts that weren’t working, and that wasn’t easy.
The truth is- marriage takes work, it’s not perfect, it’s not easy all of the time. I will tell you -we have worked on it a lot! But we both agree that these days our relationship has never been better! Why? We put the time in to make it that way.
About us- We crack up on how different we are-he’s a scientist & I’m an artist- yin & yang, but somehow we work so well. I am so grateful we have each other! 💗
I’m so glad we made our relationship a real priority & didn’t go elsewhere when times were tough. I feel we are more of a team now than ever before. What a gift!
