I had to post that pic above first, she is just so adorable, I couldn’t resist!
Believe it or not, this little cutie-pie cried most of the short mini session (which can be so stressful for parents).
That happens every so often with little ones, but I reassure parents not to worry- I am sneaky!
Some how I managed to sneak up on her (while her daddy was holding her) and get this gorgeous smile!
Yay!
What a cutie!

Here is a tiny glimpse of the rest of our mini session together…
The gorgeous B. Family!!!

Thanks B. Family!!

It was so great to see my friend Veronica again!
She and I hung out all through 7th-12th grade, but I hadn’t seen her for years, other than connecting on Facebook.
I was thrilled when she signed up for a mini shoot and I got to see her and meet her sweet family!
So fun!

In other news…
I hope all of you reading this are enjoying this beautiful autumn season.
I know I planned to post more pics of what’s going on here in our new home, and all of our adventures so far,
but I want to post my wonderful and patient clients first.
Also, I anticipate lots of time this winter in New England to post our pics…
The idea of living in snow and very, very cold temps is so foreign to me!
I just can’t even imagine it!
I like the word “embrace”.
That word has been getting me through each stage of moving far from our family and friens and all that we know.
I am trying to embrace each new thing that comes and make the best of it,
rather than be scared of what’s to come, or miss what we don’t have here.
We are open to and embracing new experiences, new places, and people, and a new lifestyle
and
{gulp}
{this one is the hard one for me…
and it is quickly approaching…}
long and cold winters…
{FYI: I do not like being cold, I love warm and sunny weather, and actually I love rain too- but just every so often.}
I know this will make me stronger, and therefore a better person in the long run.
And I admit I probably sound kinda wimpy with this weather talk, but I grew up in sunny So. Cal- so can you blame me?
In the meantime, I hope to capture our first winter and experience all it has to offer.
For now, we are enjoying the New England fall with apple picking,
pumpkin patches, traveling to Vermont and New Hampshire to see the amazing fall foliage,
and decorating our house for Halloween.
Wishing you all a Happy fall! :)
xoxo
