So this happened today… :)
It had rained all morning, so once the rain stopped and the sun came out, we were off to the skate park.
Everyone was piled into the car, and at the last second, I grabbed my camera.
Then I had a spontaneous idea, and ran upstairs and grabbed this cape and mask- (well actually I dug through all of the kids costumes to find them).
And we went to the skate park.
But then I asked my youngest if we could just leave really quick to a nearby neighborhood and take a few pics.
You see, I have to take advantage of winter and early spring while I have more time to take my own family pics.
I could tell he was doing it as a favor to me.
But once he put on the mask and cape, he literally changed before my eyes. He transformed into a super hero. It was really awesome.
He had THE BEST time and so did I.
It only took us about 15 minutes. Soon we were headed back to skate the skatepark.
I am so glad I took the time to grab the camera!
