A few of my recent work travels have taken me back to charming Ojai, CA (my hometown)- one of my favorite places!

Right now the Ojai air smells so fragrant from all of the Ojai orange blossoms, its unreal!

I had the pleasure of photographing a super fun high school senior session-

one of my favorite types of sessions are High School Senior girls.

Its such an exciting time in a young woman’s life! So much potential, so much to look forward to,

an they are discovering who they are.

I am honored and thrilled every time I get to photograph HS Seniors and be a part of that life transition

and capture this amazing time.

When I chatted with Reese on the phone, I could tell she was super sweet.

She described her look and taste as simple, and didn’t want props.

*One more thing about this age and why I love it-

I love to be able to be another positive force of showing a teen girl she is beautiful inside and out.

That can be a tricky age when you are exposed to so many ideas of what beauty is,

and the media projects so much importance on outside appearance.
I love interviewing my HS senior girls so they know their session and photos is custom,

but to reflect who they are on the inside, not just the outside.

And I am there to hear them and see them for who they are and capture that in photos. I truly love it.
