My repeat parents know that I am not afraid of uncooperative kids, or kids that aren’t in the mood at our photo sessions. I will do whatever it takes to make it fun and on their terms, and I have different ways of getting great photos of kids on their terms without being pushy and also honoring the child’s feelings. One of my favorite things to do is surprise parents with beautiful photos of their kids when everything looks chaotic or uncooperative at a session. Here is a sneak peek from Sunday’s Photo Session in San Marcos, CA. This little one is naturally shy and wasn’t in the mood for photos that day, but she has worked with me a few times before, so she knows I will go with her ideas. She decided she wanted to lay down in the grass and not really focus on me- and although it may have looked chaotic on the outside- that we were not doing what we had originally planned, it was perfect because this is HER. I feel like I captured her shy & dreamy little self perfectly- it’s who she is.
Yesterday was my first day back to work after a about 2 months off with my family (we moved back to SoCal from the Bay Area), and after feeling swirly and off with the move, and getting unpacked and settled, I was actually excited to work & create & serve & I know that I am doing exactly what I am supposed to be doing. I am exactly where I am suppose to be.
My heart is full of gratitude and love and joy. Thank you for being here on this journey with me💗
