It’s time for my annual “Best of” blog post where I post my favs from the previous year.
Holy moly, this is late, but better late than never, right? What a strange year 2020 was! I did not begin my photo sessions in 2020 until May! However, beginning in January I had the pleasure of focusing on my coaching clients as well as the women in my various Goal Setting Mastermind groups, which turned out to be such a gift. My coaching business would have never grown to what it is if it weren’t for the long break from my photography business. I got to connect with so many fantastic women and watch them transform! 🦋
Back to 2020 photo sessions- My beloved clients who chose to work with me from a safe distance out doors to capture their families, their love, their brands/ headshots- what an incredible gift in a year that felt so unsure and isolating. I am beyond grateful! 🙏
Categories in 2020 range from Lifestyle sessions, Women’s Headshots and Personal Branding Sessions, Men’s headshots and branding for a magazine shoot, Dating and Social Media Profile Photos, Kid’s sessions, Pet Photography, Romantic Couples, Family Sessions, High School Seniors, and Tweens!
Because of crazy Covid in 2020, I did not get on a plane or travel far for my clients this year. My family & I did a lot of camping in our RV and took many road trips all over CA and also through Arizona, Nevada and Utah.
Locations for sessions in 2020 range from nearby California towns like Carlsbad, San Marcos, & Encinitas, Vista, San Clemente as well as further north in Ojai & Ventura, but also include Zion National Park in Utah!
This year was another year of pets! I love that people are including their precious fur babies– Yay! I also got to do more dating profile photos which was really fun! I told my clients to envision the type of partner they wanted to attract- the qualities, etc. Then we also talked about the energy/ vibe they wanted to convey as well! Fun new stuff!
We were able to quarantine & safe distance with work and travel & stayed in our little family of 4 pod. We really had some great adventures in our RV & camping, etc.- San Onofre, Zion & Bryce Canyon (where we broke down for many days!), Bass Lake, Yosemite, San Clemente, Ojai, & Ventura. And before Covid, we snowboarded Mammoth, June Mountain, and Big Bear!
Ok, enough about me, let’s dive into my fav’s of 2020 in no particular order!
