I loved this Mini Session & capturing this sweet family again! Families with teens & photographers, I want to share a tip with you! Most teens – especially teen boys, aren’t thrilled about photo sessions (I have a teen boy myself, I know first hand, but I also have been doing this for over a decade now, so I have a bit of experience on this. My tip is- when possible, always try to incorporate the family dog into to the session! If its a home session, then any pet will do. (If there is no pet available I have other tips, but this one works like magic). This takes the pressure off teens, and they usually love their dog/ pet and you will get real smiles from teens that are usually shy or not so thrilled about the camera. (PS. this works great for grouchy husbands too, haha!)
