Since the beginning of my professional photography journey over a decade ago, one thing I have always loved to do is capture kids faces and different expressions, but especially the eyes of children. I don’t think it will ever get old for me- I love doing it because its fun for me, but I also love doing it for my parent & kid clients. Did you know- many people assume I got my degree in photography or the arts, but I actually got my degree in cultural anthropology. Before having kids I dreamed of traveling the world as a National Geographic photographer, photographing faces of people in different countries and cultures. I did get to travel all over the world, and I have been able to take photos of faces in this amazing job of portrait photography. I am grateful that I am able to do that thing I used to dream of doing, just in a different way than I had first envisioned. Sometimes things show up differently than you expected, but even better than you envisioned for yourself- you just have to realize it!Happy Thursday Friends! Isn’t she so striking? I got lots of smiley photos of her, and I wanted to see what it would look like for non-smiley photo- glad we tried this- wow! Her eyes are captivating! Don’t you agree?
