Love these cuddly pics in the fort we built out of sheets

This little tent looks so innocent in this photo, but it sure gave us a hard time!- Or at least the wind did!
Heather and I worked against the wind building this fort. Oh I know this looks like a simple tent, but this darn thing took almost an hour to secure!
Just when we thought we had it ready, a huge gust of wind would come through and knock part of it down.
We wanted to have it all ready for the shoot later that day. Finally it was secure, despite the violent flapping in the wind!

For this next part of the shoot Heather {the mom pictured in this post} and I simply explored her linin closet and found a few sheets we could use to construct a fort.
{I really try and use simple ideas and concepts, but in a unique and fun way, doesn’t have to be anything fancy, just a little imagination can go far.}
A home-made family fort is another fun way to get the whole family in the photos together, having fun in an intimate setting.
