On my last trip out to California I was blessed to be able to work with this awesome family.
I hadn’t seen Tonya for a few years, so it was really nice to catch up with her,
and see how big her boys have grown, as well as meet her sweet hubby.
Without further adieu, here is their sneak peek! :)
The light was truly this magical! {LOVE}

I made these vintage walkie-talkies out of Campbell Soup cans and a long piece of string for the boys.
I just love how these turned out. and I am so grateful Tonya was open to the idea!
The boys were so cute, and actually had fun using them!

I always ask my clients if there is any particular shot they want/need at a session.
Tonya said since the boys were very small she has always had a photo of them looking at each other,
so we recreated that simple, but sweet brother photo of them.
I LOVE seeing their love in these photos!

Another fun brother segment- capes and swords.
I asked their mom if she could just bring towels or sheets to tie around their necks and I brought the swords,
and voila!
Instantly this shoot was all about them playing, and they forgot about me! :)

In other news,
Did you guys notice I redesigned my blog?
I have been doing some serious spring cleaning around here.
I am still not finished designing it- it needs a photo slideshow/banner up at the top,
but I just wanted a little change up.
{I spent all Friday night working on it, if you can believe it. Its a lot harder and time consuming than it looks,
if you are not a designer- and I am not, but I am patient, so some how I figured it all out.}
